Navig8 recently attended the naming ceremony for the first two of six newbuild Marineline IMO2 MR vessels being delivered by Leonhardt & Blumberg. The vessels form part of the Time Charter & Pooling Cooperation Agreement between the two companies, further strengthening their long-term partnership.
The first vessel, Hansa Guangzhou, was delivered on 18 June, with Hansa Genoa scheduled for delivery in early September. Both vessels will join Navig8’s IMO2 Gamma Pool upon delivery.
The remaining four vessels are expected to be delivered between October 2026 and March 2027, further expanding the fleet under the cooperation agreement.
The addition of these vessels will increase the IMO2 Gamma8 Pool fleet to 25 vessels in 2026 and 29 vessels in 2027, reinforcing Navig8’s position as a leader in the IMO2 MR segment and enhancing the pool’s scale, flexibility, and service offering for customers.
