Junior Trading Analyst (London)

Purpose of the role:  Support Head of Derivatives in the successful delivery of trading responsibilities, trading projects and objectives by participating broadly in the activities of the derivatives desk function. The Junior Trading Analyst will be responsible for maintaining trading records, reconciling trading accounts, follow on markets, pricing curves and creating trading models on a daily basis.

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Preparation and maintenance of detailed trading models;
  • Performance of quantitative and qualitative project and investment case analysis;
  • Running P&L along with margin and cash requirements.
  • Reconciling trading positions daily.
  • Following up on market reports and relevant research.
  • Support trading execution.
  • Support Head of Derivatives with other tasks and projects as required from time to time.
  • Creating/maintaining internal reports.

Skills and experience:

Marketing Executive (London)

Summary of Role

Working in an exciting fast-paced environment, this newly created Marketing Executive role will support the Marketing Manager at Navig8 Group with a range of marketing and communication activities.

A large part of this role is focused on raising awareness of the Group brands and developing stronger relationships with its customers and business partners. This is a company that focuses on quality, targeted marketing and the Marketing Executive will help investigate and develop new marketing routes to reach target audiences effectively.

You will be creative, innovative and intelligent and will be involved across the whole marketing process. You will execute marketing activities, generating compelling content which reaches and engages audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day delivery of digital marketing, including website updates, social media and email marketing to build the Group’s overall online presence.
  • Day-to-day delivery of creative requirements across the Navig8 Group.
  • Responsibility for the management and creativity of the regular webinars and podcasts hosted by different stakeholders within the Navig8 Group.
  • Coordinating projects with an awareness of budget and timescale targets, briefing third parties appropriately and working collaboratively to ensure creative output meets quality standards, brand guidelines and team objectives.

Senior Research Analyst (London)

The role is for an experienced analyst with at least 5 years of experience looking at either petroleum markets (gained either within an oil company, oil trader or consultancy) or ESG experience within a commodities market:

  • Use multiple sources of data to create original analysis and conclusions
  • Experience of analysing markets including the maintenance and development of models
  • Experience of advanced data analysis and modelling
  • Experience or a desire to learn how to use programs such as Tableau and Alteryx
  • Comfortable working with and discussing their ideas with senior leadership on a regular basis

Job Description

A 3 month FTC within Integr8 with opportunity for permanent employment.
Candidates joining this role are expected to gain first-hand knowledge in the bunker industry with the aim to become successful Bunker Traders, once the 3 month training process is completed. Throughout the training, candidates will learn the operational aspects of bunker deliveries, work closely with Senior Bunker Traders and with the development/sales team of Engine (digital bunker supply platform).

Experience & Skills
– Either 3-4 years experience in the shipping and fuel markets and looking to move into bunker trading or 4+ years experience in target driven sales across multiple industries with the proven ability to learn an industry quickly to be successful.
– Ability to work autonomously.
– Experience of working in a fast-paced sales environment.
– Strong verbal and communication skills.
– Confident in picking up the phone to contact prospective new customers and to gain new users for Engine.

Bunker Trader (Japan market / Singapore based)

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Conducting market research to identify prospective new customers and winning new business
  • Marketing Integr8 to 3rd party customers
  • Bunker procurement for a range of third party customers
  • Planning ideal bunkering ports for the voyage the vessel is planning
